What a gorgeous session this was with this sweet, beautiful high school senior! This young woman decided that it would be special to do her first location for her Senior Portrait Session around her very own neighborhood in Petaluma, Ca. and I enjoyed it so much! First, we started at the front of her house and in your front yard. There were these gorgeous pink roses which I realized we must include. Sometimes you think you need to travel really far for beautiful locations, but sometimes some of the prettiest and most special locations are right under your nose!

Speaking of special, I asked this high school senior before our session to describe herself in 3 words for me. Kind, Caring and Friendly is how she described herself. She told me that she would like to be remembered in 20 years “as being a good person”. She told me that the person that inspires her is her aunt, “because she is so hardworking”! I loved this so much! I enjoy capturing all of these wonderful teens and their young gorgeous beauty, but what I enjoy just as much, is when they are beautiful humans on the inside as well. When they are polite, caring and compassionate young people, make me thrilled to work with them. And makes for our conversations during our photography sessions so interesting and sweet.
